Our company was founded in 1883 and became Limited under the Ben Bennett Jr title in 1925 and remains a family owned business by the Bennett family who are actively employed in all parts of the business. With its Head Office in Rotherham, and offices also based at the quarry site. The company operate Grange Mill Quarry in Derbyshire where we produce and deliver high quality pure Carboniferous Limestone products ranging from fine powders, granules,aggregates to lump stone. 

 

Over the years milling and classification equipment has changed very little to produce grades required within the mineral industry, but at the forefront of control of this equipment has been the rapid advancement in electrical control and monitoring systems.

It is in this area where Ben Bennett Jr Ltd has continued to work to improve its productivity and quality of product within strict specifications.

The Continued use of Inverters, soft starts and computer control keep Grangemill Quarry at the forefront of limestone milling and classification.
